Miles is usually up by 6 am but on Christmas the big boys were up before him, which means we were all up way to early…. They went to wake him up and man he was a mess, in the best way possible.
I sat down to do a few things on my computer tonight….which rarely happens. I have high hopes of designing a website and actually got to scrape the surface on that, yay for progress!! Life is busy with 3 kids, way busier than I could ever have imagined. I’m “in the trenches” so to speak and know that this investment into the lives of my kids is paying off but there’s no time to write all about that because my baby just woke up and my husband is still at work on a Friday night at 10:50 (startin’ the weekend off with a bang ;)) so I’ll keep it short and sweet and hopefully have a chance to do a proper photo shoot and write up for my favorite 3 year old.
He’s serious and silly, stubborn and kind….but man he’s really stubborn…He’s beautiful. He’s brave, he’s funny. He loves the Wizard of OZ and still struggles to get through the whole alphabet song. He knows his colors and can pretend with the best of them. He cares about babies and likes to hold slimy worms straight from the ground. He’s wild and shy, he makes all the colors brighter.
Miles is 8 months old and to quote Isaac “8 months, no way!! He sure is growing up fast!” I would have to agree. He’s basically a 21 pound turtle…While I have hundreds of adorable pictures to post I will share this one…stay weird my friends.
This psalm has been looping through my brain all day…….so much to take in.
Me: What does blue and yellow make?
Elias : “MAGIC!!!”
*Jazz hands included
This guy is fit as a fiddle! 16 lbs 8 oz. 26.5 inches long. He is happy for the most part but HATES the car. The kid cannot stand being in the car and I can’t stand being in there with him either. Typical of my boys. They basically hate life until they can run. Active, active, not a good sleeper still up about 3 or 4 times a night but goes back to sleep easily (thank God). He is sweet as a lump of sugar and I tell him that his sugars are in his cheeks, I love his dimples. He watches everything and pays attention to us all the time especially when we eat. He tried his first food, pear and is eating rice cereal. He is almost rolling from back to belly and pivots around when he’s on his tummy (also know as his Bell Bell :))
